How to Use Location Weather Blocks in Oxygen Builder

Oxygen is one of the most popular WordPress page builders. This guide shows you how to display your pre-built Location Weather Saved Templates inside any Oxygen page.

By enabling the Oxygen Page Builder Addon, you can place your ready-made weather blocks directly inside the Oxygen editor with the Location Weather element. No rebuilding from scratch. Add the element, pick your Saved Template, and your fully styled weather block appears on the canvas.

You can complete this in 2 Simple Steps:

Step 1: Install Location Weather and create a Weather Block.

Step 2: Add your Location Weather Saved Template inside Oxygen.

Step 1: Install Location Weather and Create a Weather Block

If you haven’t already, install and activate Location Weather, enter your licence key, and configure at least one weather block. Once saved, it will appear under Location Weather → Saved Templates with its own shortcode.

Step 2: Add Your Location Weather Saved Template inside Oxygen

Follow these 5 steps to place your Saved Template into Oxygen.

1. Enable Oxygen Addon

  • Go to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Location Weather, and click the Integrations tab at the top of the page.
  • Under Manage Page Builder Integrations, find the Oxygen card and switch its toggle to ON.

2. Check Your Saved Template

  • Click the Saved Templates tab.
  • Find the template you want to use. Its title is the name you’ll pick inside Oxygen later.
  • Each template has its own shortcode in the Shortcode column (for example, Weather Card). Click the copy icon next to it if you need the shortcode.
  • To create a new template, click + Add New. Use the icons in the Action column to edit, duplicate, or delete a template.

3. Open the Page with Oxygen

  • Go to Pages → All Pages and hover over the page where you want the weather block to appear.
  • Click Edit with Oxygen in the row of links under the page title.

4. Add the Location Weather Element

  • In the Oxygen editor, click the (+) icon in the top-left corner.
  • Type Location Weather into the search box.
  • Click the Location Weather element to add it to your page.

5. Choose the Saved Template and Save

  • The element’s settings open in the left panel. On the Primary tab, open the Saved Template dropdown and choose your template (for example, Weather Card). Your weather block appears on the canvas.
  • Click the disk (save) icon in the top-right corner to save the page.

Tip: After saving, view the page on the frontend to confirm the weather block displays correctly. If the Location Weather element doesn’t show up when you search in Oxygen, check that the Oxygen addon is toggled ON under Location Weather → Integrations.
