How to Use Location Weather Blocks in WPBakery

WPBakery Page Builder is one of the most popular WordPress page builders. This guide shows you how to display your pre-built Location Weather Saved Templates inside any WPBakery page.

When you enable the WPBakery Page Builder Addon, you can place your ready-made weather blocks directly inside WPBakery with the Location Weather element. You don’t need to rebuild anything. Pick your Saved Template in the element settings, and your fully styled weather block appears on the page.

You can complete this in 2 Simple Steps:

Step 1: Install Location Weather and create a Weather Block.

Step 2: Add the weather block inside WPBakery using Location Weather Saved Templates.

Step 1: Install Location Weather and Create a Weather Block

If you haven’t already, install and activate Location Weather, enter your licence key, and configure at least one weather block. Once saved, it will appear in Location Weather’s Saved Templates tab with its own shortcode. Make sure WPBakery Page Builder is also installed and active.

Step 2: Add the Weather Block inside WPBakery Using Location Weather Saved Templates

Follow these 5 steps to place your Saved Template into WPBakery.

1. Enable WPBakery Addon

  • Go to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Location Weather, and click the Integrations tab.
  • Under Manage Page Builder Integrations, switch the WPBakery toggle to ON.

2. Find Your Saved Template

  • Click the Saved Templates tab.
  • Find the template you want to use. You will pick its title (for example, Weather Card) in WPBakery later.
  • To copy its shortcode, click the copy icon next to the snippet in the Shortcode column (for example, ).
  • Need a new template? Click + Add New.

3. Open the WPBakery Frontend Editor

  • Open the page where you want the weather block to appear, or create a new one. Then click WPBakery Page Builder in the top toolbar.
  • WordPress switches to the classic edit screen. Click Frontend Editor to see the weather block while you work.

4. Add the Location Weather Element

  • Click the + icon at the top left to open the Add Element window.
  • Type Location Weather into the search box, or open the Location Weather tab.
  • Click the Location Weather element (Display location weather from saved template).

5. Choose the Saved Template and Publish

  • The Location Weather Settings window opens. Choose your template from the Saved Template dropdown.
  • Click Save changes. Your fully styled weather block shows in the editor canvas.
  • Click Publish in the top bar to save the page.

Tip: After publishing, view the page on the frontend to confirm the weather block displays correctly. If the Location Weather element doesn’t appear in the Add Element window, check that the WPBakery addon is enabled under Location Weather → Integrations.
